Clayton® and the Arbor Day Foundation: Building a Better Tomorrow, One Tree at a Time

Clayton's social responsibility efforts focus on creating a more sustainable future for people and the planet through strategic philanthropic partnerships.

In 2022, Clayton partnered with the **Arbor Day Foundation**, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. Since its founding in 1972, the Arbor Day Foundation has planted more than **500 million trees across 60 countries**, helping to advance environmental stewardship worldwide.

Through this partnership, Clayton has committed to planting more than **5.5 million native-species of trees by the end of 2025**. These efforts support **36 reforestation projects** and help restore more than **12,000 acres of forestland**.

Planting **1.07 million trees**, representing one tree for every estimated tree used to build Clayton homes in 2024.
* **2026:** Continuing the one-for-one commitment by planting **1.04 million trees** across **12 states**, matching the estimated number of trees used in home construction.

This partnership demonstrates Clayton's ongoing commitment to reforestation, environmental sustainability, and responsible resource stewardship.
